Terms of service

Crafyu researches and writes personalised courses on topics you choose, with a tutor, quizzes, flashcards and progress tracking. Features may change as we improve the product; if we remove something you pay for, we'll tell you in advance.

• You must be 18 or older, or use Crafyu with a parent or guardian's agreement.
• Give accurate details and keep your sign-in secure. You're responsible for what happens under your account; tell us at hello@crafyu.com if you think it has been misused.
• One person per account. Accounts can't be shared or resold.

• Free includes a monthly allowance of AI credits and one new course a month, with the course size and depth limits shown on the Pricing page. Free courses are kept for 30 days.
• Pro is a monthly subscription, billed in Indian rupees including GST through Razorpay at the price shown when you subscribe. It renews automatically each month until you cancel.
• Credits measure the AI work done for you. They renew at the start of each billing period, don't roll over, have no cash value and can't be transferred. When they run out, your existing courses stay available, and new AI actions wait until your credits renew.
• We may change prices or allowances for future billing periods. We'll tell you at least 7 days before a change affects your subscription, and you can cancel before it applies.
• Cancellation and refunds are covered by our Refunds and cancellation policy.

Courses, tutor answers, quizzes and rewrites are generated by AI from the sources it finds. We check claims against those sources and show citations, but AI can still be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Crafyu is a learning aid, not professional advice: don't rely on it for medical, legal, financial, safety or other decisions without checking a qualified source.

• You keep the rights to what you write into Crafyu. You give us permission to process it to provide the service to you.
• The courses generated for you are for your personal learning. You may keep notes and quote them, but don't resell or republish them as your own product.
• Crafyu's software, design and brand belong to us. Cited source material belongs to its owners; we link to it and quote short passages to support claims.

Don't use Crafyu to break the law, harm others, generate content that is illegal or abusive, infringe someone else's rights, probe or overload our systems, get around plan limits (for example with multiple free accounts), or extract the service or its content by automated means. Don't reverse engineer or copy the service, resell or share access to your account, or use Crafyu or its output to train AI models without our written permission. We may suspend or close accounts that do, and we'll tell you why unless the law prevents it.

Crafyu uses other companies to work: Google for sign-in, Razorpay for payments, DeepSeek for the AI models that write courses and answer questions, web search providers for research, and OVHcloud for hosting. Their part of the service is covered by their own terms; what we share with them is set out in the Privacy policy. We aren't responsible for outages of these services, but we'll do what we reasonably can to work around them.

You can stop at any time and delete your account in Settings. We may end or suspend the service for you if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. If we stop offering Crafyu altogether, we'll give at least 30 days' notice and refund any unused part of a paid period.

We work to keep Crafyu available and your data safe, but the service is provided “as is” without guarantees of uninterrupted availability or of the accuracy of AI-generated content. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before it arose. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first at hello@crafyu.com; most problems are solved quickly that way.

We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here and email you about significant changes before they take effect. If you don't agree, you can cancel and delete your account.
